This post has the same nesting problem as the previous one, but with a twist: the wrapper divs here are load-bearing. They create columns, cards, and callouts using inline styles. Busting through them gets us insertion points — and may also dismantle the layout.
Scroll through with placeholders on and watch where the ads land, then look at what happened to the multi-column sections and the styled cards below.

Starter basics
Sourdough bread starts with a simple mixture of flour and water left to ferment. Wild yeast and lactic acid bacteria colonize the mixture over several days, creating the culture bakers call a starter.
Feeding the starter regularly keeps it active and ready to leaven bread. Once it doubles reliably within a few hours of feeding, it is strong enough to raise a loaf.
Most bakers mix a levain the night before baking, combining a spoonful of starter with fresh flour and water so it peaks right when the dough is mixed.

Mixing the dough
Autolyse is the resting period after flour and water are first combined, before salt and levain are added. Even thirty minutes improves extensibility, making the dough easier to stretch and shape.
Instead of kneading, most sourdough methods use stretch-and-folds every half hour during bulk fermentation. Each set aligns the gluten network a little more.
By the third or fourth set of folds, the dough transforms from a shaggy mass into something smooth and elastic that holds its shape.

The section above is a flexbox parent with two column children. An ad inserted between those columns becomes a third flex item. An ad inserted after a paragraph inside a column changes that column’s height and throws off the visual balance. Neither outcome is what the publisher designed.
Below is a recipe-style card where the background, border, and padding all live on the outer wrapper.
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Proin eget tortor risus. Mauris blandit aliquet elit, eget tincidunt nibh pulvinar a. Bulk fermentation card
Bulk fermentation is where flavor develops. Depending on room temperature, this stage takes four to six hours. The dough should rise thirty to fifty percent and show bubbles along the sides of the container.
Shaping creates surface tension that helps the loaf hold its form in the oven. A bench rest between preshaping and final shaping relaxes the gluten just enough to shape without tearing.
Cold retard in the refrigerator overnight slows fermentation and deepens flavor. It also firms the dough, which makes scoring dramatically easier the next morning.
If an ad lands between these paragraphs, it renders on the cream background inside the gold border — visually part of the “recipe card.” If the card wrapper gets busted instead, the background and border vanish and the card becomes plain paragraphs.

Baker’s note: a Dutch oven traps steam during the first twenty minutes of the bake, which keeps the crust soft long enough for the loaf to fully expand.
Removing the lid for the final twenty minutes lets the crust brown and crisp. Resist slicing until fully cool — the crumb continues to set as the bread cools.
Hydration and flour choice
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Higher hydration doughs produce a more open crumb but are harder to handle. Beginners often do well starting around seventy percent hydration and working upward as their shaping skills improve.
Cras ultricies ligula sed magna dictum porta. Donec rutrum congue leo eget malesuada. Whole grain flours ferment faster and absorb more water, so a dough that is half whole wheat behaves very differently from one made with white bread flour alone.
Nulla porttitor accumsan tincidunt. Vivamus magna justo, lacinia eget consectetur sed, convallis at tellus. Rye is the most enthusiastic fermenter of all, which is why many bakers keep a small rye starter even when they bake mostly white loaves.
Sed porttitor lectus nibh. Praesent sapien massa, convallis a pellentesque nec, egestas non nisi. Vestibulum ante ipsum primis in faucibus orci luctus et ultrices posuere cubilia curae.

Scoring patterns
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. A single confident slash down the length of the loaf gives the classic ear. The blade should be held at a shallow angle, around thirty degrees to the surface.
Curabitur arcu erat, accumsan id imperdiet et, porttitor at sem. Decorative scoring — wheat stalks, leaves, crosshatch — is done with the blade held vertically and cuts kept shallow so they open as texture rather than as expansion points.
Vivamus suscipit tortor eget felis porttitor volutpat. Chilled dough straight from the retard scores far more cleanly than room-temperature dough, which drags and tears under the blade.
Common flaws
Pellentesque in ipsum id orci porta dapibus. A dense, gummy crumb usually means underproofing or slicing too early. Big irregular tunnels near the top crust point to shaping problems rather than fermentation ones.
Proin eget tortor risus. A pale crust that refuses to brown suggests the fermentation ran too long and the yeast consumed the sugars that would otherwise caramelize.
Donec rutrum congue leo eget malesuada. A loaf that spreads flat instead of standing tall almost always traces back to weak surface tension at shaping or an overproofed final rise.
Equipment worth having
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. A kitchen scale is non-negotiable; volume measurements of flour vary by up to twenty percent depending on how the cup is filled. Everything else is a convenience.
Etiam vitae ligula id justo interdum lacinia. A banneton holds the shaped loaf during its final proof, but a bowl lined with a floured tea towel does the same job for a fraction of the cost.
Nulla facilisi. Duis vel nibh at velit scelerisque suscipit. A bench scraper makes dividing and preshaping dramatically easier, and a lame or razor blade scores more cleanly than any kitchen knife.
Vestibulum ac diam sit amet quam vehicula elementum sed sit amet dui. Cras ultricies ligula sed magna dictum porta. An instant-read thermometer removes the guesswork: a fully baked loaf reads around 208 degrees Fahrenheit inside.
Quisque velit nisi, pretium ut lacinia in, elementum id enim. Sed porttitor lectus nibh. Mauris blandit aliquet elit, eget tincidunt nibh pulvinar a. Nulla quis lorem ut libero malesuada feugiat.
Troubleshooting card
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Starter smells like acetone or nail polish: it’s hungry. Feed it more often or at a higher ratio, and the sharp smell fades within a feeding or two.
Praesent sapien massa, convallis a pellentesque nec, egestas non nisi. Liquid pooling on top of the starter — hooch — is another hunger signal, not a sign of spoilage. Stir it back in or pour it off, then feed.
Donec sollicitudin molestie malesuada. Dough tearing during stretch-and-folds means the gluten needs more rest between sets; wait forty-five minutes instead of thirty and handle it more gently.
Curabitur non nulla sit amet nisl tempus convallis quis ac lectus. This is a second styled card with a different palette — an ad landing in here picks up the blue tint and border, and busting the wrapper strips both.
Inspection note: lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Two callouts with different accent colors on one page is a good stress test — watch whether busting normalizes them into identical plain paragraphs.
Vivamus magna justo, lacinia eget consectetur sed, convallis at tellus. Nulla porttitor accumsan tincidunt.
Scaling up and storing
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Doubling a recipe doubles the flour, water, salt, and levain, but bulk fermentation time barely changes — temperature drives the clock, not dough mass.
Pellentesque in ipsum id orci porta dapibus. Baked loaves keep two to three days cut-side down on the counter. For longer storage, slice and freeze; a frozen slice revives perfectly in the toaster.
Proin eget tortor risus. Vestibulum ante ipsum primis in faucibus orci luctus et ultrices posuere cubilia curae; Donec velit neque, auctor sit amet aliquam vel, ullamcorper sit amet ligula.

Takeaway for site inspections: nesting alone tells you divbuster is needed; whether the wrapper divs carry layout or styling tells you whether it’s safe. When the divs are load-bearing like these, the better answers are usually adjusted selectors, content hints, or slot targets on the affected templates.
