Maybe you’re attempting to reverse pre-diabetes or type 2 diabetes, or you’re trying to better manage insulin control with type 1 diabetes. Either way, these diabetes friendly dessert recipes use only sweeteners that are VERY LOW to ZERO on the glycemic index.

We test all recipes wearing a continuous glucose monitor (CGM). Many of these recipes have received feedback commercially through our customers and we stand behind the claim that they will not raise blood sugar like other desserts that claim to be diabetic friendly.

We know how important it is to still enjoy life, with tasty dessert recipes approved for diabetics you no longer have to sacrifice on taste and texture.

If you need assistance or have questions on these recipes, please leave a comment. We’re here to help. If you ever happen to be in northern Colorado, stop by our diabetic friendly bakery and grocery store! Enjoy!

For graham cracker crust:

  • 8 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

For chocolate filling:

  • 7 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 large egg, at room temperature

For marshmallow topping:

  • 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin (I used Knox brand)
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. okokoklklm,;
  2. mkmnlknljnjl

Notes

The topping can be rather finicky, so if you'd rather, you can cut large marshmallows in half and place them over the filling. Use a culinary torch to brown.
